This Forum is under development and we are currently using a first generation programme to drive it.  This is compatible with our current webhost.   If it proves to be popular, we can upgrade our current package but do not want to commit money without a trial.

Some Basic Guidelines.

!.  Each new topic is assigned a number automatically and a title decided by the originator of the topic.

2. At the bottom right hand corner of each entry it says 'post reply' and, if there have already been any replies, 'Display replies to this message'.  In brackets it states the number of replies.

3.  To view replies click on 'Display replies to this message'.  You may to repeat this for further replies.  To go back click on 'up a level'

4. To reply to a message:

A. Click on 'post reply' and a text box will come up on your screen.

B.  Enter your name, email address, topic heading and your comment.  When entering your email address you either need to type either side of the @ sign provided or delete it first and type your full email address.  If you opt for the latter method you may find your keyboard is set up differently from the host's - typing @ on your keyboard gives " and vice versa.

C.  Click on 'save entry'.

D.  The screen changes and confirms your message. 

E.  Click on 'regular view'.

F. Click on level 1 (up) to return to the Forum.

G. Breath a sigh of relief.

H.  To opt out of replying once started click on the 'back' button in your browser (green arrow at top left corner of your screen) or click on 'regular view' followed by clicking on level 1 (up) if needed.

5..  To start a new discussion topic, click on 'new entry' and the procedure  repeats from 4B above.  

6.  To return to the Forum from these instructions, click on 'home' at the top of this page.
